Enrolling in a program is how you enter the matching pool and begin your mentorship journey. Before you can join, your profile needs to meet a readiness threshold. Once enrolled, you wait for the next matching cycle, and the platform handles the rest.

Step 1: Browse the Program Directory
From your dashboard, navigate to Programs. You will see a directory of published programs available in your organization. Each program card shows:
- The program name and a short description
- The program type (Mentorship or Networking)
- Whether the program is always-on or part of a fixed cohort
- The expected session cadence (weekly, biweekly, or monthly)
- The roles available to join (Mentor, Mentee)
Click any program card to view its full details, including the session guide overview and what the program expects of participants.
Fixed cohort programs show enrollment deadlines. Once a cohort's end date has passed, enrollment closes and the program is hidden from the directory.
Step 2: Meet the Profile Readiness Requirements
Before you can enroll in any program, your profile must be complete enough for the AI to match you effectively. The readiness check requires:
- Profile photo: A clear, recognizable photo of yourself.
- Bio: At least 30 words describing your background and what you hope to get from the experience.
- Required dimensions: Any profile fields your organization has marked as mandatory. These vary by organization and may include things like your department, seniority level, or areas of expertise.
If your profile is not yet ready, the enrollment button will show you exactly what is missing. Complete those items on your profile page, then return to enroll.

Step 3: Select Your Role
When you click Join Program, you will be asked to choose how you want to participate:
- Mentor: You will be matched with a mentee and guide their development.
- Mentee: You will be matched with a mentor and lead the relationship forward.
- Both: Some programs allow dual enrollment. You can be a mentor to one person and a mentee to another within the same program or across different programs simultaneously.
Not all programs offer all roles. If a role is unavailable, it will be grayed out on the enrollment screen.
Step 4: Set Your Mentor Capacity (Mentors Only)
If you are joining as a mentor, you will also set your per-program mentee slots: the number of mentees you are willing to take on within this program specifically. This is separate from your global mentor capacity, which is set on your profile.
For example, you might have a global capacity of 3 but choose to allocate only 1 slot to this program, reserving the others for a program you participate in elsewhere.

Step 5: Confirm Your Enrollment
Review your selections and confirm. You will see a confirmation that you have joined the program, and your enrollment will appear in the My Programs section of your dashboard.
What Happens After You Enroll
Matching is not instant. After you enroll, the program administrator reviews the eligible pool and runs a matching cycle, either on a set schedule or at a time of their choosing. The AI engine analyzes your profile against potential partners and surfaces recommendations for the admin to review.
When a match is approved for you, you will receive an email introduction with your partner's profile and a link to your shared Match Hub. From there, your mentorship begins.
If you have enrolled but have not received a match yet, your enrollment is active and you are in the queue. There is nothing else you need to do while you wait.
