Networking introductions are a lightweight way to build peer relationships across your organization. Think of them as virtual coffee rounds: once per cycle, you are automatically paired with another member for a brief, informal conversation. The platform handles the matching and the introductions, so you can focus on the conversation itself.
How Pairing Works
Pairings are powered by the same AI engine that drives mentorship matching. The algorithm considers your profile dimensions, including skills, goals, seniority, and department, to find someone whose background complements yours in interesting ways.
The goal is not to pair you with your closest professional twin. It is to create diverse, meaningful conversations across boundaries you might not cross on your own. A product manager might be paired with someone from engineering. A mid-career professional might be introduced to someone at a different stage. These varied pairings tend to produce the most memorable conversations.
The platform also tracks your pairing history to avoid repeating introductions you have already had.

Opting In and Out
Participation in networking introductions is optional. Your enrollment status is controlled from your profile settings.
To opt in or out:
- Open your profile from the dashboard
- Find the networking introductions toggle in your settings
- Toggle it on to participate in the next cycle, or off to pause your participation
Opting out at any point removes you from the pool for future cycles. It does not affect any introductions already in progress. You can opt back in at any time and you will be included in the next round.
What to Expect
When a new cycle runs, you will receive an introduction email with:
- Your pairing's name, photo, and a brief profile summary
- Their booking link or contact information if they have shared it
- A few conversation prompts to help break the ice
From there, reaching out is up to you. Some pairs connect over video; others exchange a few emails. There is no required format and no session guide to follow. The introduction is simply the starting point.
After your meeting, the platform will send a short feedback request. Your feedback helps the algorithm improve future pairings and gives you a moment to reflect on the conversation.

How This Differs from Mentorship Programs
Networking introductions and mentorship programs serve different purposes, and many members participate in both.
| | Networking Introductions | Mentorship Programs | |---|---|---| | Duration | Single conversation per cycle | Ongoing relationship with multiple sessions | | Structure | Informal, no agenda required | Session guides, goals, and milestones | | Pairings | Rotate each cycle | Fixed for the duration of the program | | Purpose | Broad peer connection | Deep skill development and guidance |
Mentorship is a commitment between two people over time. Networking introductions are lower-stakes and higher-volume, designed for expanding your professional network across the community rather than deepening a single relationship. Both are valuable, and participating in one does not limit your ability to participate in the other.
