There is no native iOS or Android app today, and nothing to install from an app store. Instead, MentorNeko is a fully responsive web app designed to work in any modern mobile browser: Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android, or whatever you prefer. Every page adapts to your screen size, so you get the full platform, not a cut-down mobile version.
For most members this is a feature, not a compromise. There is no app to download before your first session, no updates to install, and nothing for your IT department to approve.
How Do I Log In on My Phone?
This is where MentorNeko's passwordless login really shines on mobile. There is no password to type on a tiny keyboard:
- Open your organization's MentorNeko login page in your phone's browser (for example
acme.mentorneko.com). - Enter your email address and request a link.
- Switch to your email app and tap the link in the message from MentorNeko.
- Tap Continue on the verification page, and you are in.

Even better: most of the time you will not need the login page at all. Every notification email MentorNeko sends contains a link that takes you straight into the platform, already logged in. These notification links stay valid for a period set by your organization (30 days by default), so tapping last week's session reminder still gets you in. See How Magic Links Work for the details.

What Works Well on Mobile?
Everything works, but these are the things members do most from a phone:
- Checking your match. Open the match hub to review your partner's profile, your shared goals, and upcoming session details.
- Completing session feedback. The quick check-in after each session takes under a minute and is easy to knock out right after the call ends.
- Updating your profile. Tweak your bio, adjust your matching preferences, or add your booking link from anywhere.
- Reading networking introductions. When a coffee-chat introduction lands in your inbox, you can read your new contact's profile and reply on the spot.

Longer writing tasks, like drafting detailed session notes or filling out a rich profile from scratch, are simply more comfortable on a laptop. The platform does not stop you from doing them on a phone; your thumbs might.
How Do Notifications Work on Mobile?
All MentorNeko notifications arrive by email: match introductions, session reminders, feedback requests, and nudges. That works naturally on mobile, because your phone's email app already alerts you the way you have configured it. There is nothing extra to set up and no separate notification settings to manage on a new app.
The honest flip side: because there is no native app, there are no push notifications today. If you keep email notifications for your work inbox turned off on your phone, MentorNeko's reminders will wait quietly until you next check mail.
